The terms ‘top mount sink’ and ‘under-counter basin’ actually represent two layers of meaning in home decoration. In the kitchen sink, it generally refers to the installation process; in the bathroom basin, it generally refers to the shape.<\/p>\n

The sink is glued on from the underside of the countertop and then fixed with clips or stone bonding.<\/p>\n

The advantage of this is that water and debris on the worktop can be easily swept into the sink, making it very easy to clean.<\/p>\n

The installation is more troublesome and generally requires the sink<\/p>\n

to be sent to the cabinetry factory for gluing during the customisation process,<\/p>\n

which requires an additional undercounter basin installation fee.<\/p>\n

The disadvantage is that it is not easy to change the basin later,<\/p>\n

because it is glued to the countertop with a strong adhesive such as lucite,<\/p>\n

and you have to change the countertop together with it.<\/p>\n
