B, How to do when the bathtub drain is blocked

The bathtub drain is blocked, you can first close the water valve,

and then put the right amount of tap water in the bathtub;

place the rubber attractor (for unblocking the toilet) on the water valve;

while opening the water valve, smother the overflow hole of the basin or bathtub;

and then quickly attract up and down, suck out the dirt or hair and clean it up in time.

In the case of a serious blockage, this can be repeated several times until it is unblocked.

Blockages that occur near the bath drain can be tackled from several places – the overflow,

the bath drain opening or the drum bend.

Let’s start with the bath drain.

If you can’t clear the blockage here, try the overflow again and then try the bulbous bend.

If the bathtub drain is blocked and cannot be unblocked with a rubber suction device,

first use the drain elbow screw to unblock the bathtub drain opening.

If the blockage does not occur at the bend,

insert the drain bend screwdriver into the extension of the drain pipe that extends into the wall and turn the screwdriver into the drain pipe.

If this does not work, move the overflow tray out of the way and insert the screwdriver directly into the overflow pipe and through to the drain.

For blocked floor drains, such as those in the corners and shower drains,

a garden hose can be very effective,

especially if the blockage is not right next to the opening.

Attach one end of the hose to the tap, shove the other end as deep as possible into the drain,

and then stuff the cloth around the hose at the drain opening.

Next, turn the tap on as far as it will go and hold it for a while.
