Notes for bathtubs installation

(i) Test whether the water is leaking

(iii) Sand filling

Although the bathtub is strong,

its thermal conductivity is very fast and the sand should be laid firmly and smashed at the bottom of the bathtub.

During the sand filling process, it is a question of how to keep the sand from leaking into the drainpipe.

(iv) Leave access openings

Leave a hole 300mm high and 400mm wide at the downspout,

intercept a mouth according to the size,

intercept a wooden board (thickness 40mm) which has been treated with waterproof and anti-corrosion according to the size,

and stick the bricks on the board according to the calculated number

and arrangement of bricks with 903 construction adhesive.

The edges of the bricks are smear with sealant and set on the box,

this is to facilitate the future maintenance of the bathtub drainage system.

(v) Tiling

It is not necessary to scratch the brick of the bathtub,

lay the table of red bricks, smear a layer of cement mortar on the surface,

and then wait for two days to paste the bricks again,

it is very troublesome to paste the bricks,

as the ground is left sloping, and the bathtub is flat,

so each big brick should be polished into different sizes,

it is not possible to polish a lot at once, it is easy to grind more,

and it is necessary to grind again and again.

The top edge of the tiles should be tucked under the rounded edge of the bathtub so that no sunny corners are formed.
